Why is LPG Gas the Next Future in the Fuel World?

Over recent years, LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) has been a viable fuel option in the UK. LPG produces fewer emissions than petrol and diesel but fuel consumption is worse. It's been possible to convert many existing cars to run on LPG by after-market conversions, and some manufacturers such as Vauxhall have had new cars in their range that are dual-fuel, which are designed to run primarily on LPG with petrol back-up. There is a reasonable network of filling stations.

LPG Gas Filling Pumps

There are a huge number of Lpg gas filling pumps all over India from where you can easily fill your car. LPG is a convenient and efficient fuel for homes and businesses. Its portability makes LPG a popular fuel in rural and regional Australia, in areas not connected to a natural gas network.

As well as having reliable supply chains for LPG, India also has extensive storage and distribution infrastructure. This makes LPG an ideal alternative to foreign oil. Increasing the use of LPG within India will help the country reduce its reliance on imported fuels and improve its fuel security.

LPG is also an environmentally-friendly fuel. Households can more than halve their Green House Gas emissions by using LPG instead of electricity for water heating, cooking or space heating at home. Around 6.2 million tonnes of CO2 could be saved each year if every Australian home without a natural gas connection, or not using solar or LPG water heating, was to switch their electric hot water system to one powered by LPG.

It is non-toxic, non- corrosive in nature. It burns cleanly and has a high octane rating i.g. more than 100 RON (Research Octane Number). LPG engines have less knocking/ vibration, maybe that is why people are choosing this for their car’s safety. It does not produce harmful emissions like CO, NOx and higher hydrocarbons. Particulate emissions are also less. So frequent cleaning of the combustion chamber is not required.
